When you're looking at adoptive family profiles, there are plenty of factors to consider. Do they live in an urban or rural area? Will the wife be a stay-at-home mom? What faith do they follow? Would you like the adoptive family to have the same ethnicity as you? 

Each of these questions is important when you're choosing parents for your baby. But what about where the adoptive family lives? You might think that if you would like to have in-person meet-ups in the future, you have to choose an adoptive family who lives close to you.

In modern adoption, women have lots of choices, including a huge variety of adoptive couples to pick from, and the ability to get really selective in who they pick. Jerry and Lynda are excited about expanding their family, and view adoption as a great blessing. They’ve been married for seven years and their five year old daughter is anxious to be a big sister. Jerry is employed as a software developer and Lynda is a Certified Public Accountant. They live in a four bedroom, two-story house, and the upstairs has three bedrooms and a large playroom. Jerry and Lynda live in an established family neighborhood with lots of trees and sidewalks. The neighborhood includes a large pond with ducks, geese, turtles and fish. Jerry and Lynda are members of the local swim and tennis club and live near several parks.
