Adoption Q&A: Prenatal Care

Posted by Lifetime Adoption on October 11, 2014

Question: “Can I choose adoption for my baby even if I haven't had much prenatal care up until now?”

Answer: Yes! We encourage you to get medical care throughout your pregnancy, for your health as well as your baby's. But, there may be times when a mother isn’t able to go to prenatal doctor appointments regularly. This doesn't change your ability to choose adoption.

If you need help finding prenatal care, contact us! Lifetime can explore the options to help you get on track with a doctor so you have pregnancy records to start your baby's medical history. Our Birth Mother answer line is always open: 1-800-923-6784.
