African American Adoptive Couple for My Baby

Posted by Lifetime Adoption on February 4, 2017

African American adoptive couple Jamaal and ErinnJamaal and Erinn are a young, African American professional couple who are excited to build their family through adoption!

They're each others' best friends and enjoy traveling and making new memories together. As Christians, they feel that God has called them to adopt.

About his wife, Jamaal shares, "Before graduate school, Erinn was a flight attendant for a major airline. This was a perfect fit between her personality and her love of travel. At home, she likes to try new recipes and is always trying to find ways to make healthy dishes. She enjoys reading, crafting, shopping, and cooking. Erinn has wanted to be a mother for as long as she can remember. I can’t wait to see her teaching, reading and playing with our child."

And Erinn had these words to share about her husband: "Jamaal works as a psychologist for a juvenile detention center where he gets to live out his passion of working with at-risk black male youth. In fact, he developed an intervention using movies and music to engage at-risk teens in therapy. I love Jamaal’s passion for the community, funny personality, and overall zest for life. He makes me laugh until my sides hurt, and comforts me when I am upset. I know Jamaal will be an amazing father just as he is an amazing husband."

Jamaal and Erinn promise that God will always be honored in their home. They promise to keep their word on the degree of openness you both agree on. Jamaal and Erinn also promise to teach your child about their African American history and culture, and that education will be valued and encouraged.
