Trust Your Adoption Circumstances

DSC_5684RRemember that what seems like adverse circumstances are really planned growth opportunities. When we can trust God's leading each day, then we can let go of worrying how we will get to our destination, avoiding a lot of unneeded stress. One of the greatest daily habits I have learned is to daily affirm my trust in and gratitude to God, no matter what seems to be off kilter in my life.

Sometimes we forget God is able to do far more than we ask for or can imagine. If someone would have shared 29 years ago that Lifetime Adoption would be helping hundreds of babies and children yearly find forever adoptive homes, I'm not sure if I could have handled the heavenly concept. I am glad I had the mustard seed of faith that He would enlarge my (adoption) tents to create adoptive families today. It was one foot in front of the other and getting back on track when I felt alone and lacking trust.

We are human, the good thing is we can quickly get back on the right road and once again know He has it all handled. It's exciting now to see small and large events we didn't expect. There is never a dull moment. We have a long history of miracles and amazing adoption stories. This helps us and hopefully can help you to "keep the faith."

Be strong, have faith, learn to start each day with prayer, positive expectations, knowing there is no limit to what God can accomplish in your life. Be mindful of having a thankful heart and look forward with faith.

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Psalm 143:8
