How Your Donations Help Birth Mothers

Posted by Lifetime Adoption on August 15, 2016

birth_mom_labor_bag.jpgThe Lifetime Adoption Foundation is always in need of donations of small, travel-size toiletries to fill our "labor bags." Discover how your donations actively help pregnant women who have an adoption plan.

The Foundation gathers items to fill and assemble labor bags, which are the bags women take to the hospital for labor and delivery. You can get more info on what labor bags are and what we do with them at this post on Lifetime's birth mother blog: Lifetime's Labor Bags, Packed Just for You!

Specifically, we need:

  • Travel-size shampoos and conditioners
  • Razors
  • Maxi pads
  • Washcloths and small hand towels
  • Lip balm (such as Chapstick)
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Mouthwash
  • Socks
  • Deodorant
  • One (1) Wal-Mart gift card (for $10 to $50)
  • Tote bags or small duffel bags

Items like these can be found on the cheap at Wal-Mart, Target, dollar stores, and online. If you can help us out, please mail your donations to:
