pregnant_birth_mom_droid.jpgHave you just started to research infant adoption? When you're exploring adoption agencies, it's good to find out what types of birth mothers and adoption situations they have.  In learning about their available adoption situations and what their birth mothers are seeking, it'll help you discover if you're a good fit for their adoption program.

Here's info about just a few of the many birth mothers seeking adoptive parents that Lifetime is currently working with:

We’re searching for an adoptive family to adopt a Caucasian baby due in February. The birth mother is interested in placing her baby with a two-parent Christian family. The family must be very financially secure and also have the time and love needed to provide a wonderful life for her child. She has medical insurance and has started her prenatal care. There are no known health issues, and she's shared that she is substance free. She would like to continue contact after placement with letters and pictures but is unsure of visits at this time.

Lifetime is also looking for adoptive parents for an African American/Hispanic baby boy due in October.  His birth mother is looking for a Christian family, preferably Catholic. She is hoping to find a family who's turned to adoption as the result of infertility, and who don't have any children yet. She would like to make to an open adoption plan, to include once a year visits. She anticipates having some pregnancy-related expenses.

And, we’re currently assisting a birth mother who is expecting a baby girl in January. Her daughter will be Caucasian/Hispanic. She's looking for a two-parent family. She would like an open adoption, to include updates through pictures and letters as well as annual visits. She has been receiving regular prenatal care and is working part-time. There may be some out-of-pocket medical expenses.

If you're not yet working with Lifetime, the first step to introduce you to birth parents like these is to fill out Lifetime’s FREE online application to adopt.
