We love to see validating and positive insights like these about adoption today. After all, every woman who is facing an adoption decision for a newborn or young child will move through a LOT of questions, many thoughts, emotions, more questions, and even a grieving cycle that begins before her adoption plan takes place. Julianne’s Adoption Story: I Never Imagined…

“I always thought adoption was such a good thing for women who were in high school, or homeless, or dealing with child services. You know, the stories you hear about on TV. I never thought this would be a decision I’d face when I became pregnant a third time. I’m 32, have a good job, and my youngest just started school. My kids’ dad doesn’t pay child support regularly, but I never minded before. But now, with a baby coming, and knowing I won’t be able to work for a while, I’m really worried about how I’ll make the bills and continue providing for my 5 and 8 year old. Plus, the father of this baby hasn’t talked to me since he found out I was pregnant. I am pretty sure I can’t count on him for help.
